Journal
The Institute uses a refereed Journal to provide a forum for the disciplined exchange of views on the intelligence theory and practice from acknowledged leaders in the field of intelligence both in Australia and overseas.
The Journal Editor supported by an Editorial Board issues Guidelines for Authors and Guidelines for Referees. Potential authors are invited to submit an article to the Journal Editor.

The Institute publishes up to four editions of the Journal each calendar year, constituting one volume. The Institute shall from time to time, develop and publish specific editions devoted to a particular theme or subject area. A recent full text edition of the Journal is available here. Newsletter
The Institute uses a quarterly newsletter - AIPIO News - as an informal channel to highlight people and events, as well as short articles addressing matters of interest to AIPIO members. Potential contributors may submit content to the Newsletter Editor. A recent full text edition of the Newsletter is available here.
Special Publications
The Institute publishes other reference resources of interest to intelligence practitioners, including; Words on Intelligence, Summary Table of Contents for AIPIO Journals (1992-2008), and a Subject Index for AIPIO Journals (1992-2002).
